Which method is used for the SOC(State of Charge) calculation?_copy20241023

Ususally there are two way for us to calculate the State of Charge. 1.Coulomb Counting: Coulomb counting measures the charge flowing into and out of the battery. At low currents, the voltage drops across the sense resistor used for current measurement becomes very small, making it difficult to accurately measure the current. This can lead to significant errors in the fuel gauge readings, especially when the 48 volt lifepo4 battery is nearing depletion. 2.Voltage-based methods: Voltage-based methods estimate the state of charge (SOC) by monitoring the battery voltage. However, the relationship between voltage and SOC is non-linear and varies depending on factors like temperature, discharge rate, and battery aging. At low currents, the voltage changes become smaller and less predictable, further reducing the accuracy of the fuel gauge.

What is 48 Volt LiFePO4 battery pack self discharge rate?_copy20241023

It depends on the Soc percentage. If it is at 100%, in one month, the self discharge rate is 3%, and 40% SOC is 2%; After one month disuse, there is still SOC of 97%.
